My comparison of the Assan GA-250 gyro with its primary competitor (price wise) the Hobbyking HK-401b. It was too windy for a comparison at the flying field but gentle backyard flying was revealing. The GA-250's strength is its heading hold performance and it's weakness its its precision and fluidity of movement. The HK-401b has good heading hold which is not quite at GA-250's standard, but, the smoothness and precision of movement more than compensates. In my opinion the HK-401b wins by some margin. It's also worth noting that the GA-250 is fussy about the speed of the tail servo, the mechanical set-up and the radio settings and can not be recommended for the novice. However, if HH performance is your priority check out the GA-250. FWIW I have flown the HK-401b on both heli's and the result stands. The HK-401b feels much smoother to fly with and is less fussy about set-up.
Lo mejor del GA-250 es su rendimiento con el bloqueo (heading hold) y su debilidad es su precisión y fluidez de movimiento. El HK-401B tiene buen bloqueo, pero no esta a la altura del GA-250, segun el lo compensa con la suavidad y la precisión de los movimientos. En su opinión gana el HK-401B por cierto margen. También vale la pena señalar que el GA-250 es quisquilloso con la velocidad del servo de cola, con la puesta a punto mecánica y de la radio, y que no se puede recomendar a los novatos. Sin embargo si el rendimiento es tu prioridad echa un vistazo al GA-250. Segun el, el HK-401B es mucho más suave para volar y es menos exigente con set-up.
