Mikado goes Digital with the new Virtual Flybar System!

Digital Rotor Heads are here with the Virtual Flybar System (V-Bar). Up until now, the flybar and all of its associated mechanical parts in the rotor head were indespensable components of the helicopter. Now, this entire system can be replaced with electronic components. By setting parameters in a software application, pilots can control and modify the rotor head properties in a very simple manner. For instance, you can change the Bell / Hiller ratio, or the paddle weights with just a click of the mouse. As well, just as you would change gain in a Heading Hold Gyro, you can now modify the cyclic speed for aileron and elevator control!

A new level of performance for every pilot!
In 3D flying, the use of the V-Bar system expands the flight envelope. Compared to conventional mechanical rotor heads, the V-Bar system reacts much more quickly and with more agility. It is less susceptible to unwanted effects from gusts of wind. Moreover, the undesired internal effects of a mechanical system are completely eliminated, meaning the helicopter will respond to the input much more precisely. Digital operation means maximum control and ultimate precision!

For scale pilots, the V-Bar offers new ways of dealing with multi-blade rotor head systems, which are typically very difficult to control. The system allows pilots to set up the rotor head in such a way that the heli will exhibit a very high degree of stability. As a result, novice pilots will succeed much more quickly, even with scale models.
Integrated Heading Hold Tail Rotor Gyro
This gyro is characterized by precise stopping performance and continuous yaw rate of the tail, even in windy conditions. Thus, the tail rotor gyro complements the V-Bar's performance. The set up of the tail rotor gyro is also performed in the software module.

Advantages of the Virtual Flybar System:
Digital flight performance, as in a simulator
Suitable for mechanical and electronic swashplate mixing
Suitable for two-blade or multi-blade helicopters
Continuously adjustable head set-up, mild to wild!
Reduced weight, no-play rotor head with less parts
Straightforward flight performance, easily reproduced
Reduced air drag, meaning more power and duration!
System Requirements:
PC Desktop / Laptop with MS Windows (Win 95 & later)
Includes:
V-Bar electronic module with gyro, software, and manual.
