In end of January, Align announced to recall the grip linkage arms as well as the bolts which are parts from the 700DFC Main Rotor Head Upgrade Set H70089. According to Align, there has been an instance reported customer where a loosely tightened bolt on the pitch link assembly caused high frequency vibration, resulting in material fatigue and bolt breakage from where the thread start. Due to the concern that this breakage can lead to unforeseen safety issue, they have modified the grip linkage arm design of both 700DFC and 600DFC rotor upgrade assembly. In addition, the bolt has been replaced with one made from CNC'ed high carbon steel material for improved rigidity and strength, effectively avoids bolt breakage issue. Please see the picture for further detail.

For customers who have already purchased the first version of 700DFC Main Rotor Head Upgrade Set H70089 from us, please return the main blade grip arm (x2) and the screw (x2) to us at the following address :

Pu Ku
No.141, Xinming Rd., Neihu District,

We will help to forward the old grip arms and bolts to Align and get new replacement parts for you. Please note the return of old parts is required for exchange of new parts. We won't be able to ship the new parts in advance without getting the old parts. The new main grip arms and bolts won't be available for sale separately, either. Instead, Align will come out the revised version of 700DFC Main Rotor Head Upgrade Set and part number will be H70089A. If you have further questions, please contact us at sales@infinity-hobby.com.

Caution: Please do not fly before the 700 DFC new parts have replaced.
